Zephaniah

The Lord declares His intention to destroy everything on earth, punishing Judah and Jerusalem for their idolatry and wickedness, and condemning the nations of Philistia, Moab, Ammon, and Assyria for their sins. The day of the Lord's wrath will bring great destruction and darkness, and no one will be able to escape His judgment. However, a remnant of humble and meek people will be spared, and in the future, God will remove the city's punishment, delighting in His people and rescuing those who have been oppressed.
