Zechariah
The book of Zechariah contains a series of visions and prophecies from God, calling the people to return to Him and warning them not to follow in the footsteps of their forefathers who refused to listen to the prophets. The visions include a man among myrtle trees, a measuring line, a gold lampstand with seven lights, a flying scroll, and four chariots with horses of different colors, all of which represent God's power and His plan to restore Jerusalem and His people. The prophecies also speak of a future servant, the Branch, who will bring peace and prosperity, and a righteous king who will rule over all the earth. The book warns of impending judgment on the nations that have plundered God's people, but also promises a future time of peace and prosperity, with Jerusalem as the center and God as the sole ruler of the earth.
