Malachi
The Lord rebukes the Israelites, particularly the priests, for their corrupt teachings, partiality in matters of the law, and contempt for His name through defiled and imperfect sacrifices. He condemns Judah for breaking faith with Him through foreign marriages and profaning the sanctuary, and rebukes the people for their casual attitude towards divorce and saying the Lord is pleased with evil. The Lord promises to send a messenger to prepare the way for His coming, and when He arrives, He will purify the Levites, judge those who have turned away from His decrees, and distinguish between the righteous and the wicked. The people are called to return to the Lord, bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, and revere His name to experience healing and triumph over the wicked.
