Matthew
The book of Matthew tells the story of Jesus Christ's life, ministry, death, and resurrection. It begins with Jesus' genealogy and birth, followed by his baptism and temptation in the wilderness. Jesus then begins his ministry, preaching about the kingdom of heaven, healing the sick, and calling his disciples. He teaches about the importance of humility, forgiveness, and love, and warns against hypocrisy and greed. Jesus predicts his own death and resurrection, and is eventually betrayed by Judas and crucified by the Romans. However, on the third day, Jesus rises from the dead, appearing to his disciples and instructing them to spread the news of his resurrection and to make disciples of all nations. Throughout the book, Jesus' teachings and actions emphasize the importance of faith, love, and obedience to God, and he is ultimately revealed as the Son of God and the savior of humanity.
