Luke

The book of Luke begins with the birth of John the Baptist and Jesus, followed by Jesus' baptism and temptation in the wilderness. Jesus then begins his ministry, preaching and healing throughout Galilee, and calling his twelve apostles. He teaches about the kingdom of God, using parables to illustrate its nature and the need for repentance and faith. Jesus also encounters opposition from the Pharisees and other Jewish leaders, who question his authority and seek to trap him. Despite this, Jesus continues to preach and heal, and eventually makes his way to Jerusalem, where he is betrayed, arrested, and crucified. However, on the third day, Jesus rises from the dead, appearing to his followers and commissioning them to preach the gospel to all nations. The book concludes with Jesus' ascension into heaven and the apostles' return to Jerusalem, where they begin to spread the message of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.
