2 Peter

The apostle Peter writes to believers, emphasizing the importance of adding virtues to their faith to participate in the divine nature and escape worldly corruption. He warns of false prophets and teachers who will introduce destructive heresies, denying the Lord and bringing destruction on themselves, and reminds believers of God's history of punishing the unrighteous.
