Obadiah

The Lord declares judgment on Edom for its pride and violence against Jacob, stating that Edom will be destroyed and its allies will turn against it. Edom is warned not to take advantage of Judah's misfortune, as the day of the Lord's judgment is near and Edom's actions will ultimately lead to its own downfall. In the end, Jacob will possess its own land, while Esau's house will be consumed, and the kingdom will belong to the Lord.
