Haggai
The Lord, through the prophet Haggai, rebukes the people for neglecting the temple's reconstruction, warning that their lack of progress and prosperity is a direct result of this neglect. The people, led by Zerubbabel and Joshua, obey the Lord's voice and begin working on the temple, and the Lord promises to be with them. He encourages them to be strong and work on the temple, promising His presence and Spirit among them, and declaring that He will shake the heavens and the earth, and fill the temple with glory, ultimately blessing the people and overthrowing the kingdoms of the nations.
