Micah

The Lord will judge Samaria and Jerusalem for their sins, destroying idols and temples, and causing mourning and exile. The wicked will be punished for their evil deeds, but the Lord will gather the remnant of Israel and lead them out of trouble. The leaders of Israel are condemned for their corruption and injustice, and false prophets are rebuked for their self-serving prophecies. In the last days, the Lord's temple will be established, and nations will come to learn from God, who will judge between nations and bring peace. A ruler from Bethlehem will emerge to lead Israel, bringing peace and security, and the Lord will destroy Israel's enemies and idols. The people are called to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, and despite the darkness, the prophet holds onto hope in God, who will ultimately bring light and vindication, restoring and shepherding his people.
