Titus
Paul instructs Titus on the qualities required for church leaders, emphasizing the need for them to be above reproach and sound in doctrine. He warns against insubordinate and deceitful individuals and urges Titus to rebuke them sharply. Older men and women are to model sound doctrine and behavior, teaching and training younger men and women to live virtuous lives. Believers are to be submissive to authorities, gentle, and courteous, avoiding quarrels and evil speech, and should devote themselves to good works and avoid unprofitable controversies.
