2 Thessalonians

The Thessalonians are enduring persecutions and afflictions, but God will repay those who afflict them and grant relief to those who are afflicted when Jesus is revealed. The day of the Lord will not come until the rebellion and the man of lawlessness are revealed, who will be accompanied by false signs and wonders, and ultimately defeated by Jesus. Paul requests prayer for the spread of the Lord's word and protection from evil men, while commanding the Thessalonians to work and earn their own living, warning those who refuse to work should not eat, and urging them not to grow weary in doing good.
