Ephesians

The book of Ephesians describes God's plan to bless believers with every spiritual blessing in Christ, having chosen them before creation to be holy and blameless. Through Christ, believers have redemption and forgiveness of sins, and are called to live a life of humility, gentleness, and patience, maintaining unity and working to build up the body of Christ. Believers are instructed to put off their old selves and put on a new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness, and to live a life of love, imitating God and Christ. They are also called to be filled with the Spirit, submit to one another, and live out their faith in their relationships, including marriage, family, and work. Ultimately, believers are to be strong in the Lord, putting on the full armor of God to stand against the devil's schemes and spiritual forces of evil.
