1 Samuel 27:12

Achish trusted David and said to himself, "He has become so odious to his people, the Israelites, that he will be my servant forever."

And Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.

And Achish trusted David, thinking, "He has made himself an utter stench to his people Israel; therefore he shall always be my servant."

Therefore, Achish trusted David, saying: "He has worked much harm against his people Israel. And so, he will be a servant to me forever.
