Genesis 35:5

And as they journeyed, a terror from God fell upon the cities that were around them, so that they did not pursue the sons of Jacob.

Then they set out, and the terror of God fell upon the towns all around them so that no one pursued them.

And when they had set out, the terror of God invaded all the surrounding cities, and they dared not pursue them as they withdrew
