Ecclesiastes

The writer of Ecclesiastes, who claims to be the Preacher, king of Israel, reflects on the fleeting nature of life and the futility of human pursuits, concluding that everything is vanity and that true fulfillment and understanding are unattainable. Despite his own wealth and wisdom, he finds that the same fate awaits both the wise and the fool, and that true enjoyment comes from God. He advises people to find joy in their work and the simple pleasures of life, to approach God with reverence, and to accept their circumstances as a gift from God. Ultimately, he emphasizes the importance of fearing God and keeping His commandments, as this is the whole duty of man, and warns that God will judge every deed, whether good or evil.
