1 John
The apostles proclaim Jesus Christ as the source of eternal life and fellowship with God, emphasizing the importance of walking in the light and confessing sins to receive forgiveness and cleansing. Those who claim to know God must keep His commandments and demonstrate love for others, while those who deny Jesus as the Christ are considered antichrists. Believers are called to purify themselves, practice righteousness, and show love through their actions, not just words. They must also test the spirits to discern the Spirit of God, and those who confess Jesus as the Son of God have God abiding in them. Ultimately, faith in Jesus is the victory that overcomes the world, and believers can have confidence in their prayers being heard by God.
