Jeremiah 18:12

And they said: "We have lost hope. And so we will follow our own thoughts, and each of us will act according to the depravity of his own evil heart.

And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

"But they say, 'That is in vain! We will follow our own plans, and will every one act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.'

But they will reply, 'It's no use. We will continue with our own plans; each of us will follow the stubbornness of his evil heart.'"
